Our Commitment

Tunnel Masters Pest Control is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

This website targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more accessible to people with blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and combinations of these conditions.

Measures Taken

To support accessibility, Tunnel Masters Pest Control has taken the following measures:

• All images include descriptive alternative text or are marked as decorative.
• All form inputs have associated visible labels and autocomplete attributes.
• Form errors are described in text tied to each field via aria-describedby.
• A skip-navigation link appears as the first focusable element on every page.
• All interactive elements have visible focus indicators.
• The mobile navigation menu is keyboard-operable and closes with the Escape key.
• Heading levels follow a logical, sequential order throughout each page.
• Color is never used as the sole means of conveying information.
• Text and interactive element colors meet a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their backgrounds.
• Animations and transitions are disabled when the user has selected reduced motion in their operating system.
• The site reflows without horizontal scrolling at 320 px viewport width.
• Proper landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer) are used throughout.

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA:

• Banner image: The promotional banner photograph contains text overlaid in the image. Key information from that image (phone number, services, tagline) is reproduced in the page's heading, navigation, and contact section, and is described in the image's alt text.
• Third-party services: The contact form is processed by Formspree and the Facebook link leads to Facebook's platform. Accessibility of those third-party services is outside our control.
